Who We Are
Community Software Initiative is a volunteer-led initiative dedicated to helping people grow in technology and helping organizations use technology to make a difference.
We believe that access to guidance, technical resources, and professional opportunities can open doors. Through mentorship, volunteer technology services, and community partnerships, we aim to make those opportunities more accessible.
Our mission is to empower aspiring technology professionals and strengthen communities by making technology education, career guidance, and technical support more accessible.
What We Do
Career Mentorship
We connect students and aspiring professionals in tech with experienced volunteers who can offer guidance on career development, resumes, interviews, technical skills, and navigating the technology industry.
Technology for Good
We collaborate with small businesses, community organizations, and mission-driven groups to explore practical technology solutions. From website development to digital tools and workflow improvements, we aim to help organizations use technology more effectively.
Educational Resources & Opportunities
We aim to help aspiring technology professionals access useful learning resources, professional development opportunities, and community support. As the initiative grows, we hope to expand access to resources such as software assistance and educational awards.
